    Mirror and Music

     

    Performed for the first time in 2009, “Mirror and Music”, a ballet by the Japanese choreographer, Saburo Teshigawara, has achieved remarkable success not only in Asia, but also in Europe and the US. Now, from the 6th to the 7th of November, 2015“Mirror and Music” is on the stage of the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, in Paris.

    About Saburo Teshigawara:

    In 1985, after studying plastic arts and classic ballet, Teshigawara started his career by founding his dance company, KARAS, with Kei Miyata. He has gained the attention of popular international ballet companies in Europe, such as the Paris Opera Ballet, Frankfurt Ballet, and Netherlands Dance Theatre.

    About the Show:

    The show is performed by 8 dancers: Teshigawara, Rihoko Sato, Eri Wanikawa, Rika Kato, Mie Kawamura, Yasuyuki Endo, Quentin Roger, and Chinami Matsuda. It lasts approximately 75 minutes that will take you to a different state of existence.
