    Karel Appel. Art as Celebration!

    From February 24 through August 20, 2017, the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris presents an exhibition dedicated to some of the most stunning works of the cosmopolitan Dutch artist Karel Appel (1921 – 2006).

    Showcasing more than 20 works varying from ceramic sculptures to wonderful paintings, the exhibition “Karel Appel. Art as Celebration!” is an opportunity to discover more about the life of this popular 20th Century artist as well as his career.

    Among the works on display, visitors can contemplate the artist’s renowned Carnet d'art psychopathologique added to big installations from the 1970s and 1990s.
