    Gauguin the Alchemist

From October 11, 2017 until January 22, 2018, the prominent French post-Impressionist artist Paul Gauguin (1848–1903) is the center of focus at the Grand Palais des Champs Elysées Paris.

Aiming at exploring the journey of the artist and highlighting his remarkable ability to cross the boundaries of art media, the display covers a large and diverse selection of more than 200 pieces that will definitely fascinate you. It is the first of its kind in Paris to provide such an in-depth study of the interrelation between the various works of this artist in the fields of painting, sculpture, graphic design, and decorative arts and is one of the events that you should absolutely see if you’re staying at our hotel http://www.sisterhotelschampselysees.com/en/

“Gauguin the Alchemist” is made possible thanks to the collaboration between the Musée d'Orsay and the Art Institute of Chicago, which are both home to the artist’s most captivating creations.
