    French Wine Tasting in Paris - the wine capital of the world

    French wine – it’s renowned throughout the world for its superlative quality and understated elegance. Reds, whites, roses and champagnes – France produces these in abundance due to its perfect climate and generations of know-how.

    French wines are the epitome of class, excellence and character. But how much do you really know about them? Do you know your Beaujolais from your Burgundy or your Sancerre from your Sauvignon Blanc? Maybe you would like to become more knowledgeable about them. Well, there’s an easy way to learn more about these fabulous wines – in a special French wine tasting. And where better to sample some of the country’s finest wines than in Paris, at the very heart of France itself.

    After being picked up at the hotel, you will be brought to an elegant wine bar close to the Louvre where you will have your own sommelier who will teach you all about the fine wines of France.

    You have three options for the wine tasting:

    - 1 hour: an introduction to French wine tasting where you sample three wines

    - 1 ½ hour cheese and wine lunch: you sample five selected wines accompanied by cheeses, charcuterie and bread with information about food and wine combinations

    - 2-hour master class: sample six wines plus champagne. You will learn about food and wine pairings, the history of French wine, the grapes, and how to read a label - all in a light-hearted and fun atmosphere.
