Eclectic, a Collection of the 21st Century

Until April 02, 2017, the renowned Parisian museum, the Musée du quai Branly, will be displaying “Eclectic, a collection of the 21st century”.

The exhibition sheds light on the stunning art collection of the French businessman Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière.

More than 40 valuable non-Western works of art are put on view at the museum, on this special occasion. A great part of them is African.

Ladreit de Lacharrière started assembling his collection in April 2003. The collection encompasses various styles from Fang to Baule to Dogon art, and considered a really important advance made by this art collector in order to give prominence to non-western art.

“Eclectic, a collection of the 21st century” is truly an exhibition that you should not miss if you’re in Paris anytime between now and April 02.
