    A piano recital by François Henry at the American Cathedral

    On the occasion of the Musical Sundays (Les Dimanches Musicaux) organized by Les Arts George V, the American Cathedral will host this Sunday, September, 20, 2015, a piano recital by François Henry.

    "The Musical Sundays" are in fact a very popular free concert series aiming to encourage young talented artists.

    The American Cathedral is in fact one of the most emblematic settings hosting the event, a glorious church dating from the late nineteenth century.

    It was built in 1881 in neo-Gothic style on the plans of the English architect George Edmund Street, and inaugurated in 1886.

    Listed as a historical monument in 1997, the American Cathedral will hold a number of concerts on the occasion of the Musical Sundays, among which the piano recital by François Henry.

    A young talented artist, François Henry will be offering a piano recital where he’ll play works by Schumann, Mozart and Strauss.
